Mouse pointer not displaying clearly or too slow on laptop due to LCD.
Cause:
The LCD display typically provided with a laptop is not updating fast enough to display the pointer as it moves across the screen.
Solution:
Enable 'Mouse Trails' in 'Control Panel' and/or increase the size of the pointer.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Double-click the 'Mouse' icon. (The 'Mouse Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Motion' tab.
5) Select the 'Show pointer trails' check box.
6) (Optional) Change the size of the pointer:
a) Click the 'Pointers' tab.
b) Select 'Windows Standard (extra large)' from the drop-down list box in the 'Scheme' group.
7) Click 'Apply'.
8) Click 'OK'.
